The ThinkFun booth at NCTM showcased our New Brain Lab Program.

Wow, did we have fun at last week's NCTM Annual conference — it was great to see many of you there! This conference was particularly exciting for us because we unveiled our new Membership program that we have been working hard to develop.

Let me start out with some exciting stats. Our booth was constantly busy, and we were thrilled to have 65 teachers sign up to become our first ThinkFun Education Members! Our "stretch" goal was 50 members, so we were thrilled with the response. Also, we now have over 1,000 subscribers signed up for this newsletter, another milestone for us! Many thanks to all of you who stopped by to say hello and support our programs, and welcome to those of you new to our online community.

If you are looking for an exceptional method of teaching problem solving that is sure to be the highlight of your students' day, I invite you to explore our Brain Lab program available to Members. Most of the material consists of downloadable program resource materials, including PowerPoint lesson plans. Also, we are developing online versions of the games that support these problem solving lessons. We heard from many teachers who plan to use this after standardized testing is over to keep students focused and engaged through the final weeks of school.

Please take a look at our Membership page for an outline of our Brain Lab programs and to preview some of the PowerPoints and resources available to members. Membership is cheap (for $25 you can access all materials and get a 33% discount on ThinkFun games through July 31st), and it brings you together with a growing community of like-minded educators to share stories and help offer advice and suggestions.
